A hot morning plein air of the bar formerly known as Tall Boys, as well as other things. It’s got that classic café look. A bit of shade from a large Palo Verde tree is cast across the patio in front of the dominating red architecture above the entry. Palo Verdes are almost impossible to paint because they’re so gauzy and sheer. I’m into doing a bit of pen plus a bit of paint right now. I love drawing but color adds interest. I think.
